  Beware!! Absolutely disgraceful agency and awful experience. Brooke and this real estate office are completely unprofessional and show the worst example of the perils of being at the hands of a dodgy rental real estate agency. Dealing with Brooke who is rude and aggressive and bullying was scary! We are professional clients who wanted to rent a family home while we built a new one. We have experience as tenants and landlords - have had corporate rentals when working interstate and we own our own investment properties which have been rented through other agencies for years. NEVER have we come across such a horrible and unprofessional real estate agency. They use questionable tactics and are operating very close to the line of illegality. Brooke advertised the property falsely by using an advert that was done after a renovation but was now years old. Property was sub standard to rental price and run down and needed constant maintenance as soon as we moved in. Brooke had no idea on maintenance and got testy when we raised issues. She refused to believe the hot water system was not functioning. We spent an entire week without hot water in winter and no apology made when Brooke realised she was wrong. This was the first of many issues. The Horrible owners contacted us for direct access and kept coming back time and again to mark out renovation plans. Every time the owners entered was commented on how lovely and clean and well looked after the property was. They Requested access way beyond what is deemed normal or acceptable but we obliged. When we left the rental Brooke refused to release half the bond money $3500 for cleaning & other issues??!Thiswas a complete joke! We found out later she does thus as a standard practice even though it's illegal!!! We know it's been done to previous tenants as made contact with a few previous tenants that had lived there. Brooke used absolutely disgraceful bullying tactics and when we complained to David Vertullo the agency owner he commented " I will tell Brooke to backoff a bit but she has to be aggressive when dealing with the types of lowly renters we have in cheap properties. Really?! Making excuses for treating people badly and without due consideration! Not only that, have since heard many stories come out of the wood work about the underhand sales practice of this agency. Beware! Beware! Beware! Beware! both seller and buyer and definitely Do Not go anywhere near them for a rental property. They are completely disgusting and underhand in the conduct of much of their rental business so definitely not safe to deal with this agency!!
